Video

A white-tailed hawk (Geranoaetus albicaudatus) goes hunting. At the end of the video he catches something (a vole I think) out of my view but brings it back to one of his favorite spots where it swallows its victims head whole! This was captured in the East Bay hills near San Francisco, California, USA. In this video, the original material has been muted and stabilised.Credit: Alex Burke · CC BY 3.0Source ↗
